I have recently used Ripcaster to digitise my CD collection - approximately 250 discs. John, provided good advise by telephone in regards to format and storage media. The whole process of packaging and service was first class. For a hassle free service to digitise and catalogue a music collection in a few weeks, I highly recommend Ripcaster.

I only post a limited number of reviews. Usually when the provider is either terrible or excellent. I am delighted to say Ripcaster and the service provided by Jon falls into the 'excellent' category :-) Jon kindly sourced a rather niche Nordost demonstration interconnect cable and quickly dispatched it for a home demonstration. The service provided was first class and although I did not end up selecting the cable provided, I would most certainly not hesitation to recommend the service provided by Jon and his company, Ripcaster. Just excellent no pressure, customer service. A delight to deal with this company.

Can say enough about the excellent level of service provided by Jon. I was seeking a cue arm rest worth all of two pounds but he treated me as if I was spending 2000 pounds. Jon responded to my email quickly, sourced the part and mailed it to me in Australia. It arrived a week later. Thank you Jon.

Once again Jon at Ripcaster serviced my Linn LP12 deck , fitted a new Linn Krystal Cartridge and Stylus having installed the new Karousel Bearing at the same time. I can only recommend Ripcaster's services to any Hi-Fi lover. Jon is willing to devote his time and effort to making sure the customer experience is without equal and I cannot recommend Ripcaster (and Jon of course) highly enough.

Jon Nelson, the founder/owner of Ripcaster, stands out: He is extremely knowledgeable, super-reliable and a consummate professional. I purchased a small system (Linn DS and QNAP NAS containing music files from a large number of ripped CDs) from his firm years ago. Everything is still working flawlessly — and when I created a technical problem by mis-configuring the wifi in our house, Jon was more than happy to help. Outstanding service!

Bought a pair of Linn Akurate 242 speakers from Ripcaster and Jon was, from start to finish, super helpful and very knowledgeable about the products he sells. A very good experience all round. Difficult to fault in any part of this experience. Would recommend without hesitation.

Purchased some Kii Three speakers from Jon and was impressed with his knowledge and his patience whilst I took my time to try out a number of different options before making my choice. He installed the speakers, along with the Roon Nucleus, not all of which went swimmingly, but he made sure all was working fine. I had a few teething problems subsequently and Jon helped me resolve them. Highly professional.

Purchased a Linn Majic music streamer, John Nelson was able to retrieve all my music library and transfer it over to a CD ripper. John was very helpful even offering to set the system up if i had any problems. I have to say the service was second to none. As am update, three years later my Linn DS Majic is working perfectly and the back up from Jon is first class.
